Annual progress: LEAP test passing score, approved standardized test at/above grade level, or written statement from a certified teacher.

Withdrawing from Public School

File an application with the LA Department of Education.

Additional Notes

Louisiana requires state approval and annual renewal. Must certify curriculum is equal to public school quality. Compulsory ages are 5 (by Sept 30) through 18. Alternative nonpublic school option exists.
